The Answer
"I long to flow like the water!"
cried the rock.
"You do",
came the answer.
"I want to soar like the eagle!"
cried the bush.
"You can",
came the answer.
"I wish to be tall and brush the sky like the tree!"
exclaimed the grass.
"You already do",
was the answer.
"Can I be beautiful and swift like the racehorse?"
asked the possum.
"There is none swifter or more beautiful than you",
came the answer.
"I want to be perfect...
I want to be everywhere and nowhere...
all knowing and powerful like the wind!"
lamented the human.
"you already are...."
whispered the Truth.
