For those in the U.S. this past week was the week in which Thanksgiving was celebrated.  I hope all had a magnificent and memorable Thanksgiving.  Thanksgiving, or ThanksLiving    (as James Ray's Dad taught him to refer to it) is a state of being I encourage all to embrace every day and every moment, not just on one day of the year.  To touch your hearts and ignite the feeling of sincere gratitude, I'm encouraging you to  Step into Your Miracles With Gratitude

The Law of Gender, for those not familiar with this often referred to law, states that male and female energies, yin and yang, must unite in order for creation to occur. Further, this law says that everything must have an incubation or gestation period.  Have faith... stay committed. What you are seeking is also seeking you.

Reality or Dream or Both?

The Question is put forth:
Are we dreamed?  And if so, who or what is dreaming us?   

I assert that SOMETHING ELSE may be dreaming us.   That something else is The Source, All That Is, and it dreams us into BEing.  It dreams (or manifests) a multitude of "dream projections" so it can experience all that these projections experience and assimilate.    And it is doing so RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW.

Perhaps... nothing is real in our perceived reality... it is all illusory.    There is no You, there is no Me.  There is only The Source Dreamer.   That we BELIEVE or PERCEIVE that we ARE... is due to the illusory power of the "dream" which we a part of.

When you dream (during YOUR sleep cycle) do you not create?   Do you not create and interact so realistically in your dreams that often you wake and are CONVINCED that what you experienced in dream time really occurred?   You then spend a good part of your waking day trying to verify  your experience or you operate as if it were so?   You can't tell the difference between what is "real" and what was "dreamed".

So... who's to say that what you are experiencing RIGHT HERE, RIGHT NOW as your reality is not being dreamt as a part of a larger dream? 

Interesting contemplation isn't it?

Compassionately Living in the Here-Now

 

What is Compassion?

What is Compassion?  It is being fully present in the Here-Now coming from the space of “Heart Wisdom”.  Being fully present as each moment unfolds and to lovingly hold the space of allowing the unfolding moment to arise and pass without intervention and resistance.   

Be assured that even if what you are experiencing is a reaction to that which has arisen for another human being, it is there as a gift of teaching to both them and you.   What they see and experience is their gift and teaching, what you see and experience to be so, is your gift - your lesson.   Look at what is going on within you and be the Loving space of allowing ALL possibilities to exist and BE in that moment.  Loving what is.  This is Compassion.   

I offer to you the example of the One Finger Zen of Chu-Chih.

One time an outsider asked Chu-Chih’s attendant what type of Zen his Master practiced. The boy held up just one finger, as did his Master when he was asked a question. On hearing of this, Chu-Chih cut off the boy’s finger with a knife. The boy began to run from the room, screaming with pain. Chu-Chih called to him. The boy turned around. Chu-Chih held up one finger. At that, the boy was enlightened.

It's easy to imagine how the "righteous warriors" would scream "how inhumane, how dreadful, that Master should be disrobed and not allowed to teach anymore! He should be boycotted! That’s abuse and mutilation!"  Yes, it may appear as such in their perception, maybe too within your perception and reaction, but for the boy who experienced the incident it offered a profound teaching and an opening for enlightenment. Would you deny him this?  It would surely not be compassionate to do so.

In more cases than not, the more loving and more compassionate thing is to observe and to not interfere in the unfolding.  Allowing the always perfect unfolding of what is here-now.  It may seem dis-compassionate and be difficult for those desiring to intervene and “save the day”.  It might not look like this is more compassionate thing to do.  This is due to attachments to past (and future) going at full “blast”. Those attachments keep you from fully being present here, now in the unfolding moment therefore intervention seems the only right path.

If we consider:  How can any human being learn a lesson when he is continually cautioned against taking the steps that place him in the midst of the learning opportunity?  We often do this to ourselves also; our beliefs and attachments caution us against stepping out into a "discomfort zone" - the zone where learning and growth take place, the place from where we experience miraculous growth.  It is always more comfortable to serve our attachments and rationalize through our deeply situated beliefs.  Often we do so unconsciously.  But is it really what is best for our selves?

Please realize that being attached is not wrong. And being in the Past or Future and not in the Here-Now is not wrong. They just are states of being. The Universe is neutral. All things are neutral.

The greatest love and compassion you can show any human Being, including yourself, is to allow. Allow them their humanity. Allow yourself your humanity.   Allow them their mistakes.   Allow yourself your mistakes.    Allow them their missteps.  Allow yourself your missteps.   Allow them their keys to growth and their growth.  Allow yourself the keys to your growth and allow your growth.  Allow them their successes.  Allow yourself your successes.

The Now  is always perfect and perfectly created, it is only our perception and labeling of it that renders it not perfect.  Allow the Here/Now to unfold.

 
Live  “not knowing” in the Now.  For as you live "not knowing" you will begin to clearly notice your tendency to label and tendency to try to box in what is showing up in your Now.  It will begin to show up as outside of you (as observer) and outside of the Now (reality).  You will notice this as you are in each moment "not knowing".  Be as a young child, fresh and new in each Now moment.  Young children are fearless and approach each moment openly and with enthusiastic curiosity and creativity.  They allow the unfolding of the moment and they interact with it fully.

Not knowing is truly a most worthy goal.   For when you are in “not knowing” you can be fully creative in the Now, fully present without lugging the Past and bringing in a non-existent future in with you.  You are a fully open and fresh canvas on which you can create and your potential to do so is unlimited!   To not know is to live in the mystery and magic of this moment as a powerful creator of your world!

What happened yesterday is history. What happens tomorrow is a mystery. What we do today makes a difference - the precious present moment.
