What are the energies of 2009?
This year definitely feels different to me than
2008. The feelings that starting coming in when 2009 was nearly here are
feelings of expansive energies of joy, self expression, love, compassion, growth
and release. Last year was a year of breaking through barriers for many and
working through blocks and issues both old and new, growing and reaching. 2009
is all about full steam ahead on the "fun train" while making our unique
contribution in the world and growing to the next level each one of us. It's a
looser energy this year, but don't let that belie it's intensity. It ends a
cycle as it is a 9 year, a year of completion, and next year begins a new
decade. Therefore the energy of celebration is in the air along with the inner
nudges to complete that which is no longer in resonance with you and align
yourself to move in the direction that is. You may find yourself feeling a need
to make changes suddenly in areas that were ok with you before. The
opportunities to release that which no longer serves you will be all
around.
It is important to emphasize allowing this year.
Allowing and accepting that all is perfect. Allowing will enable you to be
swept along from that which appears threatening towards that which you desire
and hold as your vision all the quicker. What ever shows up in 09 has a layered
purpose, one of which is the release of something you have been holding on
to. Acceptance and allowance of it will hasten it's passing and make the
release all the easier. Resisting or not liking what shows up will cause it to
stick around making you painstakingly work through every nuance of it.
Relax in 09. Even though it "appears" that things
are falling apart all around you, they really aren't. Tensing up about
appearances will only make you stiff as a board and unable to flow through the
playful tossing waters of 09 without getting banged up. This is a year to
strengthen your intuition and let go. You will be guided down the bouncing
river that is 2009.
2009 is a year for grouping and joining together in
physical collectives which parallel the great spiritual collectives. This will
happen quite automatically and is not something that requires much energy
focused on. As you allow the energies of 09 to express, you will find yourself
clustering with others of like energies. It is almost as if the 2009 energy
river carries you along and deposits you with others along the way and then you
travel from there on together. You'll just notice it happens quite naturally.
The ones you group with will be beings which you have pre-existing energy bonds
with, and you will notice a familiarity and deep love for them is just present
from the beginning.
2009 is a year for clarifying the direction you
want to take for the next few years. No need to forcefully think it through,
09's energy waves will bring things to your conscious awareness and all you'll need do is
consciously choose. A lot of choices will be made in 09. That's what completion
years are about. You will be tested in 09 and made to choose. The better you
become at allowing, the less painful the tests will be. They will become the
excitement which keeps it interesting.
So to summarize 2009, full steam ahead having fun
while making a difference and growing; leaving behind that which no longer fits
you with love (like donating outgrown clothes to Goodwill) and selecting and
putting the new shiny things that you want to clothe your personal and
professional self in. All the time, doing so with the ease and grace that comes
from allowing and not resisting.
All in all, I feel a tremendous joy and playfulness
in the energy of 2009, despite the gloom and doom (and the planet dissolving)
news that swirls about and from every corner of the media. 09 wants to play
and wants to engage each and every one of us completely with it's energy. Yes
09 will demand of us, however at the core of this year's energy is playfulness
and love.

energy of 2009.
Joy
Love
Expansion
Big choices
Bold moves
Break through
Fun
High energy
Increased learning
Increased grouping
Inner Peace
In 2009, it is more important than ever to cultivate unconditional love for
all beings. You are a loving being, it is who and what is at your core. Love
is the energy of the Divine, ground yourself in this Love, it is the source
of miracles. The more you come from this love, the easier you will find 09
energies and more synchronicities you'll experience in your life.
A perfect loving meditation ideal to practice at this time and throughout
the year is this Loving
Kindness (Metta) Meditation. It will put you in a powerful, self-loving,
peaceful and focused mind to aligned with the energies of 2009. I recommended
this last year to welcome in 2008 and it was well loved by all and used over and
over. I invite you to light the fires of loving kindness toward all beings now
at the beginning of 2009.
